Data Submitted to Us
Names, phone numbers, or addresses entered into a search form are sent to the third-party service that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Routine Technical Data
Like most websites, our hosting may create ordinary server logs, such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use aggregated log information to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
We use limited information to operate the site, address technical problems, measure traffic, and improve reference pages. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles from this information.
External Services and Links
Links to county and state portals, libraries, archives, and sponsored search services lead to separate organizations. Their own privacy terms govern any information you provide after leaving this site. We do not control their availability, prices, content, or data practices.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process the routine technical data described above for the site. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it. Other than that limited use, we do not disclose visitor data except as needed to run and protect the service.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for the period reasonably needed for the purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles stored by Grapevine Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Rights
Texas Business & Commerce Code chapter 541, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, provides covered consumers with rights involving certain personal data, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and some opt-out rights. Whether the statute applies depends on the organization and its data use. Because we keep very little, a request will generally involve our contact mailbox and routine logs. Use the Contact page to make a request.
Government records are controlled by the agency that holds them. Texas Government Code chapter 552, the Texas Public Information Act, governs access to existing public records and does not create a universal removal right. For a Grapevine, Tarrant County, or Texas state record, contact the responsible custodian about correction, redaction, or access.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy by posting the updated version here. Continued use after a posted change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
